Episode 66: The Real Twin Peaks

Most people think of Twin Peaks as a place in their imaginations or on TV.  But the show caused an identity crisis for the folks living in the towns where Twin Peaks was filmed in Washington state. Suddenly, they had a new identity imposed on them by a filmmaker with a strange sensibility. Meanwhile, Harry "Buzz" Teter insists that the show was really based on his hometown of Twin Peaks, CA -- and Laura Palmer was based on his girlfriend. (This first aired on a Studio 360 episode on the impact of Twin Peaks.)
