They may not look scary to you, but the Doctor Who monsters have scared generations of children to the point where "behind the sofa" has become a meme in the UK. But when I first started watching the show, the Doctor's arch nemesis The Daleks, were a mystery to me. As I learned more about their backstory, I began to realize that Doctor Who wouldn't work without them. (Part 3 of a 3-part mini-series.)
